Our jewelry is primarily composed of stainless steel and hypoallergenic plated copper. Only some models in s925.
Plated Copper
Plated copper is a material that will inevitably undergo a natural oxidation process over time. This process is already slowed down thanks to the presence of a protective external coating, but adequate maintenance is still necessary.
It is advisable to avoid prolonged contact with: water, sweat, sunscreens, perfumes and other alcoholic solutions (disinfectant gels, etc.). And to store the jewelery in a non-humid environment, inside a special bag or container.
The pH of your skin, especially if it is very acidic, also significantly affects its duration.
A well-preserved and protected copper-plated jewel can last for years!
Silver 925 (s925)
925 Silver can tarnish over time due to prolonged contact with water, thermal water, sweat, perfumes and alcoholic solutions. However, it is a material that can easily be cleaned to return it to its original color and shine.
It is sufficient to rub the jewel with a special polishing cloth soaked in hot water and bicarbonate.
Alternatively, there are various specific products on the market for cleaning 925 Silver.
As for gold-plated 925 Silver, being covered with a light layer of gold, this will tend to disappear over time, allowing the silvery color typical of 925 Silver to be glimpsed.
In this case, it is important to follow the same care described above for plated copper.
